Speaking at a meeting organized by the AK Party Istanbul Youth Branch, Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan stated that he does not follow daily news and prefers to create his own agenda. Erdoğan expressed that excessive following of agendas and news can lead to a waste of time, saying, "If you are sure of your agenda, others cannot divert you from your path."
In a meeting organized by the AK Party Istanbul Youth Branch, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's son, Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, drew attention with his statements regarding agenda and news tracking. Erdoğan stated that he does not follow daily news and prefers to create his own agenda.
"I DO NOT FOLLOW DAILY NEWS"
In his speech, Bilal Erdoğan explained his personal approach, emphasizing that he does not allow others to determine his agenda. Erdoğan stated, "I do not follow daily news; thus, I do not allow my agenda to be determined by the flow of news."
"THE FLOW OF NEWS DOES NOT DETERMINE MY AGENDA"
Highlighting the importance of creating an agenda, Bilal Erdoğan noted that not following the news is a conscious choice in this regard, and continued: "I do not allow my agenda to be created by others, that is, by the daily flow of news. I largely achieve this by not following the news."
"YOU SHOULD HAVE YOUR OWN AGENDA"
Erdoğan emphasized that individuals need to set short, medium, and long-term goals, stating that the agenda should be connected to personal life:
"If you are sure of your agenda; this agenda can be related to your own life, the region you live in, your institution, or your family. You need to plan what you will do in the next month, 3 months, 1 year, or 5 years."
At the end of his speech, Bilal Erdoğan pointed out that excessive agenda and news tracking can lead to a waste of time, using the following expressions: "If you are sure of your own agenda, others cannot distract you from your path. But if you waste your time by following too much agenda; you will not have time to create your own agenda and will become a part of others' agendas."
