Good news has come from the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, for those who want to start their own business. Minister Kacır announced that support of up to 2 million lira will be provided within the scope of the KOSGEB Entrepreneur Support Program.
SUPPORT OF UP TO 2 MILLION LIRA WILL BE PROVIDED TO ENTREPRENEURS
Kacır shared the details of the support program on his social media account. Minister Kacır stated: "We are providing support of up to 2 million lira to entrepreneurs who will start and develop their businesses through KOSGEB's Entrepreneur Support Program. As a result of the calls we opened last year under this support, we provided 2 billion 200 million lira in funding to 1631 projects. The deadline for applications for the first term of 2025 is March 31, 2025."
LAST YEAR, 3 APPLICATION PERIODS WERE RECEIVED
In a written statement regarding the matter from the ministry, it was reminded that the application processes for the 3rd term of the updated Entrepreneur Support Program - Business Development Support for 2024, under the motto "KOSGEB is Selecting Entrepreneurs," have been completed.
It was stated in the announcement that the first applications of this year will take place between March 1-31, and it was noted: "The applications for the 1st term of 2024 will take place from May 10 to June 28, 2024, while the 2nd term applications will be from August 1-30, and the 3rd term applications will take place from December 1-31, 2024. Within the scope of Business Development Support, a total of 2 billion 200 million lira was provided to 1631 projects, with 660 million lira for 521 projects in the 1st application period of 2024, 725 million lira for 543 projects in the 2nd term, and 815 million lira for 567 projects in the 3rd application period."
