Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez expressed support for humanitarian aid and called for an end to the escalation of tensions following his meeting with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, as Israel intensified its attacks.
The war that began with the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran has turned the region into a bloodbath. While Iran continues its retaliatory attacks, Israel has also started to launch attacks on Lebanon.

Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez held a meeting with Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun, as Israel increased its attacks.

During the meeting, Sanchez called for an end to the tension and support for humanitarian aid, while also expressing his support for the people of Lebanon in a statement on his social media account.
Sanchez stated, "I just spoke with Lebanon's President Joseph Aoun about the serious situation in Beirut and the rest of the country. The people of Lebanon can count on our full support and humanitarian aid for the thousands of displaced individuals. End the escalation of tension. Stop the further destruction. No to war."
