"I SLAPPED THEM AND THREW THEM OUT"

Describing the incident captured by the security camera of the shop, Fatma Kapalıgöz said, "While I was working, two masked individuals entered. I stood up. They told me to 'take out the money'; I said, 'I don't have any money on me.' They asked, 'Where is the cash register?' I said, 'There is no cash register.' I froze, and in that fear and shock, I didn't know what to do, I approached the door. The one in black went outside, and I slapped the one in white and threw him out. I followed them and told my son, 'They tried to rob me.' My son Musa came and followed them, catching the same individuals while they were trying to rob the pharmacy and handed them over to the police," she said.

Fatma Kapalıgöz also expressed that she was worried at the moment of the incident, saying, "I was very scared. I felt death; I didn't know if they had a knife or something. Would they stab me? Were they under the influence of drugs? I didn't know, I was very scared," she said.

"THEY WERE ACTUALLY COMING TO ROB OUR SHOP"

Musa Baykara, Kapalıgöz's son, stated that he was parking his vehicle in front of the business at the time of the incident, saying, "At the time of the incident, I was parking my vehicle. I saw two masked individuals passing by, but I didn't take it too seriously. It was cold, so I thought they were wearing ski masks for that reason. It turned out they were coming to rob our shop. As I parked my vehicle and was coming to the shop, I saw my mother running towards me. She told me they were trying to rob the shop. When she showed me where they went, I ran to the beginning of the street. When I heard voices coming from the pharmacy, I looked and saw they were robbing it. The one in white escaped, but I caught the one in black as he was leaving; he couldn't escape. At that moment, we called the police and handed him over," he said. The police caught the other suspect shortly after.

After the procedures at the police station, the suspects were sent to the courthouse and released under judicial control.
