On the 14th day of the war between the US-Israel and Iran, the Tel Aviv administration faced a harsh retaliation. Following a series of explosions in Tehran, Iran struck the town of Zarzir in northern Israel with missiles. According to initial reports, 59 people were injured, while photos from the region revealed the severity of the attack despite all efforts by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to conceal it.
As the war that disturbs the world continues with all its violence on its 14th day, a strong retaliation came from Iran against Israel's midnight airstrikes on Tehran.
MISSILES RAINED DOWN ON ZARZIR VILLAGE
After a series of explosions in the capital Tehran, Iran struck the village of Zarzir, located in northern Israel, with dozens of missiles. In a statement from Israel's emergency service, Magen David Adom, it was reported that 59 people were injured, 58 of whom were lightly injured, in the new missile attack from Iran.
DOZENS INJURED
The statement noted that a 35-year-old woman was moderately injured after being hit by a shrapnel piece in the village of Zarzir, located in northern Israel.
SUCCESSIVE EXPLOSION SOUNDS
After the missiles sent from Iran, sirens sounded in northern Israel, and reports emerged of explosion sounds heard in the sky.
Israeli media reported that some homes were damaged due to Iran's retaliation. The Israeli army announced that two separate intense missile attacks from Iran had been launched towards the country's north at half-hour intervals, urging the public to go to shelters.
IMAGES ARE HORRIFIC
The images coming from the village of Zarzir, which was the target of the missile attacks, revealed the severity of the assault. In the frames serviced from the region, it was noticeable that homes and cars were turned to ashes and that large holes had formed in buildings.
NETANYAHU TRIED TO HIDE BUT...
On the other hand, allegations have emerged that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the media and some officials to limit the sharing of information regarding the extent of the destruction in the country. The images that surfaced during a period when these allegations were being discussed further fueled the debates about the current situation in Israel.
As mutual attacks continue between Iran and Israel, tensions in the region are escalating day by day. Experts warn that with the expansion of attacks by both sides on the seventh day of the war, the conflict could turn into a larger regional crisis.
