A terrible accident occurred in Gaziantep. A car hit a mother and her daughter who were trying to cross the street. As a result of the accident, the mother lost her life, while the daughter was seriously injured.
A mother was killed and her daughter was seriously injured when a car hit them in Gaziantep. The driver, who caused the horrific accident, fled the scene.
The accident occurred in the Belkıs neighborhood of the Şehitkamil district. According to reports, a car with an unknown license plate and driver hit mother Emine G. (40) and her daughter Fatmagül G. (18) as they were trying to cross the street on 80th Avenue.
MOTHER DIED, DAUGHTER SERIOUSLY INJURED
After the horrific accident, mother and daughter were thrown several meters and fell to the ground, while the car quickly fled the scene. Following reports from witnesses to the 112 Emergency Call Center, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, medical teams determined that mother Emine G. had died, while her seriously injured daughter Fatmagül G. was taken to a nearby private hospital after initial intervention.
The mother's body was taken to the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institution morgue after the procedures were completed at the scene. An operation has been initiated to capture the fleeing driver.
