THAILAND: ANY CEASEFIRE MUST BE SUITABLE FOR THE CONDITIONS ON THE GROUND In a statement shared on the social media account of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was stated, "The Thai government expresses its gratitude to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for the ceasefire proposal, which Thailand has fully accepted in principle and will evaluate." Meanwhile, the statement indicated that Cambodia continued its attacks in the border region throughout the day, sharing the view that "any ceasefire must be suitable for the conditions on the ground." The actions of Cambodia were described as "lacking goodwill," and it was stated that "the Thai government has the responsibility to protect its independence and its people to the end."
