In a statement made through the artist's lawyer, Ahmet Başçı, it was emphasized that the claims in question do not reflect the truth. Başçı stated that Deniz has 1 house and 1 plot of land registered in his name and used the following expressions regarding the matter:

It is also clear that some individuals aim to unjustly gain financial benefits through these statements. The individuals featured in the videos are attempting to rent or sell apartments in the same site to social media influencers and well-known public figures by using my client's name, justifying it by stating that my client resided in the relevant property for a period. This situation constitutes a clear example of the misuse of my client's name and reputation for commercial gain. In the context of the necessity to inform the public correctly, it has become essential to clarify the following matters: The statements in the videos claiming that 'My client has completely purchased a site, owns nearly 20 properties, or left the residence for this reason' are entirely aimed at unjustly enriching third parties by using the brand value of my client Özcan Deniz. As previously reflected to the public, my client has 1 house and 1 plot of land registered in his name and is experiencing legal disputes regarding the ownership of various properties with family members."
