In the city of Sweida in southern Syria, clashes continue between Israeli-backed Druze militias and Syrian Arab tribal forces. The incoming footage shows attempts at mass killings, while the President of the High Council of Arab Tribes and Clans, Hamad, stated, "First, we will cleanse Sweida, and then we will cleanse Qamishli," announcing that their new target is the YPG.
In the city of Suwayda in southern Syria, clashes between Israeli-backed Druze militias and Syrian Arab tribal forces continue violently despite the declared ceasefire. Following the withdrawal of the Syrian army from the region, attacks initiated by Druze militants have mobilized Arab tribes. Footage shows attempts of mass slaughter, and it has been reported that over 100,000 Arab fighters have been deployed to the area.
"WE WILL NOT RETURN WITHOUT CAPTURING THE KILLERS"
The President of the High Council of Arab Tribes and Clans, Mudar Hamad, stated in an interview with Yılmaz Bilgen from the Turkey newspaper that the Druze militias continue their attacks under the leadership of Al-Hajiri, saying, "We have more than 400 martyrs. Women have been violated, Arab homes have been burned and destroyed. All of this was done with the support of Israel and the PKK-YPG. We will first liberate Suwayda, then Qamishli, and all our lands under occupation. The separatist Druze, who turned the region into a fireball with Israel's provocation, have committed the most despicable crimes in the world. These killers, led by Hikmet al-Hajiri, were already accomplices of Assad. For years, they have been smuggling people, weapons, and drugs across the Lebanese border. With the revolution, all their interests have been disrupted," he stated.
"AFTER SUWAYDA, OUR DIRECTION IS QAMISHLI"
In his statements, Hamad noted that they are facing not only Druze militias but also PKK-YPG elements. He mentioned that snipers coming from the north are also playing an active role in the clashes. Emphasizing the strategic and symbolic importance of Suwayda, Hamad said:
"We will not leave the region until Suwayda achieves stability. Afterwards, our direction will be Qamishli and all the towns occupied by the PKK. This struggle is not just a city war; it is a clear message from the Syrian people against external and internal forces that want to fragment their country."
