In a statement made by the Sakarya Governor's Office, it was said, "In coordination with the General Directorate of Forestry and all our relevant institutions, 8 helicopters, 5 planes, and sufficient personnel are intervening from land and air in the forest fire that broke out today in the rural area of Geyve district. As a precaution, Taşoluk Neighborhood has been evacuated to prevent the fire from spreading to residential areas. Our citizens living in the region have been directed to safe areas, and there are no casualties reported."
