A dispute over yielding in traffic in Ankara quickly escalated into a fight. Driver A.D. injured the other driver A.A. on the head with a pipe he was carrying and fled the scene. A.A. and his companion B.M.A. attacked A.D.'s vehicle with a hammer and a wrench at the point where traffic was congested.

The incident occurred yesterday around 08:00 on Turgut Özal 1 Boulevard. A dispute over 'right of way' between two drivers heading towards Gölbaşı turned into a fight. During the altercation, A.D. struck the other driver on the head with a pipe he took out of his vehicle. A.A. was slightly injured, while A.D. attempted to flee the scene by getting into his car.

CAUGHT WHEN TRAFFIC WAS CONGESTED

At the point where traffic was congested, A.A. and B.M.A. got out of their vehicles and attacked A.D.'s car with a hammer and a lug wrench. The moments when the two individuals broke the car's windows were captured on a mobile phone. Police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Those involved in the fight were taken into custody. A.D. and A.A.'s driving licenses were confiscated, while it was reported that three individuals were still undergoing processing.
