Providing information about the new application, Borşoş stated, "This means that, in addition to 3-month and 6-month visas, 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year visas can now also be issued."
VISA APPLICATIONS WITH TURKEY ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT FOR US
Borşoş noted that a condition was introduced that there should be no violations in previously obtained visas in order to obtain a long-term visa, and he added:
"The new application is a development that will completely facilitate the issuance of visas. Visa applications with Turkey are extremely important for us, especially in the field of tourism. Easing these visa applications will allow for easier and faster regulation of the visa duration and the duration of stay in the country, which will particularly facilitate our relations in the tourism sector."
A 60% INCREASE HAS BEEN OBSERVED
Minister Borşoş also reported that there was a 60% increase in the total number of Turkish tourists coming to Bulgaria in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
Borşoş stated, "This is an impressive increase. When we look at the number of tourists coming from Turkey, which is important for our tourism, we see that our relations are developing at a significant pace. Something we have been striving for years has now become a reality."
