A car that lost a wheel while in motion in Silivri, Istanbul, crashed into a truck from behind. The driver was injured in the accident.
While driving in Silivri, a car that lost a wheel crashed into a truck loaded with a generator that was moving in the same direction from behind. The driver, who was trapped inside the car and injured, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The accident occurred around 7:00 PM on the D-100 highway Selimpaşa side road. According to reports, the car that lost a wheel while in motion first hit the sidewalk and then crashed into the truck loaded with a generator moving in the same direction from behind.
WHEEL DETACHED WHILE DRIVING, CRASHED INTO TRUCK
The car driver was trapped in the vehicle due to the impact of the collision. Upon notification from bystanders, fire, emergency medical, and police teams arrived at the scene. The driver trapped in the vehicle was rescued by the fire department.
During the checks by the medical teams, it was determined that the car driver was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The car that crashed into the truck was removed from the scene by a tow truck. Police teams took security measures in the surrounding area. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
