"THE CHILDREN WERE SCREAMING"

Şükran Ayrancı, a resident of the neighborhood, said, "I have been awake since 7 in the morning. Then I heard three foreign children screaming. Later, I opened the window and smelled something burning. When I opened the window of the back room, I saw smoke coming from the side street and realized that a fire had broken out. Only the foreigners were screaming. It started about one to one and a half hours ago. Since it was early in the morning, there was no one around."
