The two-week ceasefire announced by U.S. President Donald Trump with Iran will also include one more country. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stated that the two-week ceasefire between "Iran and the U.S. and its allies" also encompasses Lebanon and other regions, adding that this decision "took effect immediately."

PAKISTAN PRIME MINISTER ANNOUNCED
Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif stated that he was "pleased" to announce that the parties involved in the war, which began with attacks by the U.S. and Israel on Iran, have agreed to a ceasefire, in a post on the social media platform of the U.S.-based X company.
Sharif noted that the two-week ceasefire between "Iran and the U.S. and its allies" also includes Lebanon and other regions, and he reported that this decision "took effect immediately." Sharif described the ceasefire decision as a "prudent step" and expressed his "deepest gratitude" to the leaders of the countries involved.

Inviting the delegations of the countries to Islamabad on April 10 to advance the negotiations, Sharif stated, "Both sides have shown extraordinary prudence and understanding and have continued to make constructive efforts to ensure peace and stability. We sincerely hope that the 'Islamabad Talks' will be successful in achieving sustainable peace, and we look forward to sharing more good news in the coming days."
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON LEBANON
In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was reported that sirens were activated in the northern part of the country after detecting missile launches from Lebanon. The Israeli army, which later announced that it had launched airstrikes across Lebanon targeting the capital Beirut, had decided to expand its ground invasion in Lebanon, conducting intense attacks from the air and sea. The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that 1,530 people had lost their lives in Israeli attacks since March 2. The Lebanese government also stated that the number of displaced persons in the country had exceeded 1 million 162 thousand.
