As part of the celebrations for April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, a ceremony was held at Anıtkabir. During the ceremony attended by state officials, a wreath was laid at Atatürk's mausoleum. The delegation included the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly, Numan Kurtulmuş, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, and many ministers.
