The CHP leader Özel stated that he wanted to meet with the detained Mayor of Esenyurt, Ahmet Özer, but the Ministry of Justice has not granted permission for 28 days. He expressed, "The government that does not allow us to meet with our mayor will issue a permit for Öcalan in one day."
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel made evaluations regarding the agenda at his party's group meeting. Özel stated that he wanted to meet with the detained Esenyurt Mayor Ahmet Özer but has not received a response from the Ministry of Justice for 28 days, and he claimed that the government would grant permission to meet with terrorist leader Öcalan in just one day.
In his statement, Özel said, "Tomorrow, deputies will go to meet with Abdullah Öcalan from the DEM Party. The leader of the main opposition party is not allowed to visit the mayor. The government that does not allow us to meet with our mayor will grant permission for Öcalan in one day," he stated.
CALL TO ERDOĞAN: LET'S GO TO THE MARKET
Continuing his speech, Özel made a call to President Erdoğan, saying, "Erdoğan last visited a wheat field and entered a Tarım Kredi market... We went to Tarım Kredi and examined one by one what Erdoğan bought three years ago. Erdoğan should go to Tarım Kredi and make the same purchases; let's check the labels. Erdoğan, come, let's go shopping together at Tarım Kredi's market, and let A Haber film it," he said.
DAYCARE DEBATES
Referring to the daycare debates that have recently brought the government and opposition face to face, Özel stated, "Yusuf Tekin is the worst Minister of National Education of the Republic of Turkey... He made a statement yesterday, saying that our text does not mention daycares affiliated with municipalities. If the institution had won, it would have built a daycare in every neighborhood. In İzmir, another 150 daycares were to be built. They are attacking the daycares opened by the CHP. We will quickly open the other daycares as well. We kiss the foreheads of those who open them," he said.
