The artist Edip Akbayram was treated in the hospital for pneumonia and was later admitted to Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital due to internal bleeding caused by a fall after being discharged. While the artist's treatment in the intensive care unit continues, his daughter Türkü Akbayram provided information about her father's condition.

75-year-old Edip Akbayram underwent surgery for the second time yesterday. While it was noted that Akbayram's health condition remains serious, claims about the artist's death on social media frightened his fans.

In response to the death claims, Edip Akbayram's daughter Türkü Akbayram stated, "His health condition is improving with each passing minute. He is planned to be awakened tomorrow (today)."

WHO IS EDİP AKBAYRAM?

Edip Akbayram was born on December 29, 1950, in Gaziantep. After contracting polio at just 9 months old, Akbayram graduated from Gaziantep Şahinbey Atatürk High School and later formed his own orchestra. He moved to Istanbul after finishing high school in 1968. In the orchestra they formed in high school, they played and sang compositions based on the poems of Pir Sultan Abdal and Karacaoğlan. He also recorded his first album during his high school years.
