The claim that former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has died in prison has caused an uproar in the country. Reports suggest that he lost his life in a solitary cell under inhumane conditions, but the administration of Adiala Jail has denied these claims. The prison management stated that Khan's health is good and that he is still in prison, labeling the rumors of his death or transfer to another location as "false."
Rumors about the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, allegedly dying in prison have shaken the country's agenda.
RESPONSE FROM PRISON ADMINISTRATION TO ALLEGATIONS
The administration of Adiala Prison, where Khan is being held, responded to the allegations. Officials stated that Khan's health is good and that he is still in prison, describing the rumors of his death or transfer to another location as unfounded.
"HE IS IN GOOD HEALTH"
In a statement from the prison administration, it was noted, "The claim that he has been transferred to another location does not reflect the truth. He is in good health."
DEFENSE MINISTER HAS A STATEMENT
Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif argued that Khan's prison conditions are not as bad as claimed. Asif asserted that Khan has access to many amenities in prison, including a television, sports equipment, a double bed, and a velvet mattress.
Asif, stating, "Look at the menu of the food he eats. There are no such meals even in a five-star hotel," recalled his own past prison experiences and criticized the comfort Khan has with the words: "We slept on a cold floor and managed with prison food. In January, there was no hot water, and we only had two blankets."
