A new survey measuring the success of Istanbul's district municipalities has been completed. Among the participants, there was only one representative from the Republican People's Party, while other district municipalities were represented by names from different parties. These results reveal the political balances in Istanbul and the performance of local governments.
ORC Research published the results of its Local Government Satisfaction Survey conducted across Istanbul. According to the study carried out with 9,330 participants between November 17-23, 2025, the district municipality that Istanbul residents found most successful was Esenler Municipality.
ONLY ONE NAME FROM CHP IN THE TOP 5
According to the research, Esenler Mayor M. Tevfik Göksu ranked first with a satisfaction rate of 63.8%. Üsküdar Mayor Sinem Dedetaş is in second place with a rate of 58.9%. In third place is Güngören Mayor Bünyamin Demir with a satisfaction rate of 57.4%.
PENDIK AND UMRANIYE ALSO ON THE LIST
The continuation of the list is as follows;
- Pendik Mayor Ahmet Cin – 56.8%
- Umraniye Mayor İsmet Yıldırım – 56.5% The research drew attention in terms of revealing citizen satisfaction regarding the performance of local governments across Istanbul.
