Mehmet Akif Ersoy, who was arrested in a drug investigation, drew attention as his ex-wife Pınar Erbaş did not present the Show TV Main News. It was announced that as part of the drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Mehmet Akif Ersoy and three others were detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams, and that Ersoy was removed from his position as the General Editor of Habertürk TV by TMSF following this process. Mehmet Akif Ersoy was arrested on charges of "providing a place and means for the use of narcotic substances," "gaining sectoral and material benefits by engaging women around him in sexual relations," and "establishing and managing an organization."
ERSOY'S DRUG TEST RESULT IS POSITIVE
Moreover, according to the test results, 'Cocaine and its metabolites' were found in the samples taken from Mehmet Akif Ersoy's hair, while it was stated that no narcotic substances were detected in the samples taken from his blood.
ELA RUMEYSA CEBECİ'S BLOOD CONTAINED MARIJUANA AND COCAINE
Additionally, in the samples taken from the hair of anchor Ela Rumeysa Cebeci, 'Marijuana and synthetic drugs, cocaine and its metabolites' were found. It was learned that no findings containing narcotic substances were found in the samples taken from Cebeci's blood. Anchor Meltem Acet's test results were negative.
