Famous actress Ezgi Eyüboğlu was detained in a drug operation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. It was stated that Eyüboğlu was taken into custody during a raid while visiting her neighbor Eser Küçükerol's house.
As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a third operation was carried out against celebrities for the crimes of 'manufacturing and trafficking of narcotic or stimulant substances', 'purchasing narcotic or stimulant substances for personal use', and 'promoting and facilitating prostitution'. In the operation carried out early Friday morning, 7 people, including actress Ezgi Eyüpoğlu, were detained.
EZGİ EYÜBOĞLU IS ACCUSED OF PURCHASING NARCOTICS
Within the scope of the investigation, Eser Küçükerol and İsmail Ahmet Akçay were detained for the crime of 'Manufacturing and Trafficking of Narcotic or Stimulant Substances', while Saadet Ezgi Eyyüboğlu was detained for the crime of 'Purchasing Narcotic or Stimulant Substances for Personal Use'. Yiğit Macit, Mehmet Ali Gül, Gizem Türedi, and Mehmet Güçlü were detained for the crime of 'Promoting and Facilitating Prostitution'.
RAID ON MANAGER'S HOUSE
A raid was conducted at the house of manager Eser Küçükerol, who was issued a detention order for the crime of 'Manufacturing and Trafficking of Narcotic or Stimulant Substances', around 03:00 last night in Beykoz.
DETAINED AT MANAGER'S HOUSE
Actress Ezgi Eyüboğlu, who was at a New Year's dinner last night, was also detained while visiting the house of her neighbor Eser Küçükerol after the dinner. Ezgi Eyüboğlu, who was detained for the accusation of 'Purchasing Narcotic or Stimulant Substances for Personal Use', is currently undergoing questioning and processing at Vatan Police Station.

According to the news by Birsen Altuntaş; Lawyer Cemil Cem Eribol stated in a written statement, "My client Ezgi Eyüboğlu has no connection to the use or possession of narcotic substances or any of the accusations mentioned in the news. As part of the investigation, searches conducted at the residence of suspect Kasım Garipoğlu in Sarıyer resulted in the seizure of 1 licensed firearm, 1 blank-firing gun, 8 narcotic pills, 4 pieces of crystal-like narcotic substances, 51 cartridge boxes containing substances believed to be narcotics marked with 'Trıbu spirit', 5 liquids believed to be narcotic substances, numerous devices used for consuming narcotic substances, a grinder for narcotic substances, and 19 pieces of fake dollars with cut middle sections, along with stacks of empty papers containing floating dollars.
