The Disinformation Combat Center reported that the claim of "intense flights of Turkish F-16 fighter jets in Antalya" is not true. It was stated that the mentioned flights are planned test activities under the HÜRJET project conducted by Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc.

The Presidency's Communication Directorate's Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) has made a statement regarding the claim that "Turkish F-16 fighter jets are flying intensively in Antalya" in some social media posts.

In a statement made from DMM's official social media account, it was expressed that the claim does not reflect the truth and that the mentioned flights are planned test activities conducted within the scope of the HÜRJET project carried out by Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc.

"THERE IS NO UNUSUAL MILITARY ACTIVITY AS CLAIMED"

The statement noted: "During these test flights conducted over the sea area departing from Antalya Airport Command, loud sounds similar to explosions may be heard due to the aircraft occasionally reaching supersonic speeds. There is no unusual military activity as claimed. It is strongly requested that our citizens be sensitive and cautious against shares aimed at spreading panic and fear in society and to follow only the statements made by official authorities."
