The Competition Authority announced that its investigation into OGM Production and Star TV has been concluded with the acceptance of the parties' commitments. In the statement made by the Authority, it was noted that "Star TV may have the opportunity to work with other producers outside of OGM, and OGM may also work with the television channels it desires."
The Competition Authority decided to terminate the investigation conducted against OGM Production and Media Services Inc. (OGM), which operates in the production of creative content such as series and films, and Startv Media Services Inc. (Star TV), which operates in the field of national television broadcasting, based on the commitments received.
In a statement made by the Competition Authority, it was reminded that the investigation addressed the prevention of Star TV working with a producer other than OGM and OGM working with a television channel other than Star TV due to the contract signed between OGM and Star TV.

In the statement that reported the investigation regarding the allegation that the enterprises violated the Law on the Protection of Competition was concluded with the acceptance of the commitments presented by the parties by the Board, it was stated, "With the acceptance of the commitments by the Competition Authority, Star TV will have the opportunity to work with other producers outside of OGM, and OGM will also have the opportunity to work with the television channels it desires. In this context, the competitive restrictive effects of the exclusivity agreement containing the relevant commitments have been eliminated."
