The Constitutional Court published its decisions regarding the financial audits of the Saadet Party, As Party, Young Anatolia Party, Eternal Order Party, Revolutionary Socialist Workers' Party, and Ayyıldız Party in the Official Gazette. The Constitutional Court decided to file a criminal complaint against As Party due to the failure to establish an accountable record and documentation system and actions aimed at obstructing the audit.
The Constitutional Court (AYM) published its decisions regarding the financial audits of the As Party, Young Anatolia Party, Eternal Order Party, Revolutionary Socialist Workers Party, Felicity Party, and Ayyıldız Party in the Official Gazette.
FINANCIAL AUDITS FOR THE YEARS 2023 CONDUCTED
According to the decisions, financial audits were conducted for the Eternal Order Party, Revolutionary Socialist Workers Party, Felicity Party, and Ayyıldız Party for the year 2019, for the Young Anatolia Party for the years 2019 and 2020, and for the As Party for the year 2023.
CRIMINAL COMPLAINT AGAINST AS PARTY
The Supreme Court decided to file a criminal complaint with the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against the As Party for failing to establish an accountable record and document system to the Constitutional Court, conducting income and expenses outside of the account, and actions aimed at obstructing the examination and investigation, in accordance with the Political Parties Law No. 2820.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE ACCOUNT IS NOT POSSIBLE
It was unanimously decided that the acceptance of the As Party's 2023 account is not possible under the relevant law, as the audit of the party's central account could not be conducted.
OTHER POLITICAL PARTIES IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE LAW
AYM determined that the final accounts of the other political parties that underwent financial audits were accurate, balanced, and in accordance with the law based on the available information and documents for the specified years.
