In the city of Hialeah, Florida, a man's reaction to losing $3,800 in gambling was reflected in police reports. According to authorities, after losing the money, the man returned to the gambling establishment, robbed the place, and damaged the gaming machines.
In Hialeah, Florida, 46-year-old Suniel Arzola, who lost $3,800 in gambling, became enraged and robbed the store where he experienced the loss, smashing the gambling machines. According to police reports, Arzola entered the store at midnight wearing a mask and armed with a sledgehammer.
During the incident, the store employee was extremely frightened. Arzola forcibly took the employee to the restroom and did not allow them to leave. Upon hearing the employee's screams, bystanders noticed the incident and called the police.

However, before the police arrived, Arzola smashed four gaming machines with the sledgehammer and stuffed the money inside his pockets. The angry man also stole cash from the counter and the cashier's bag before fleeing.
The police stated that Arzola had previously visited the store and was angry because he lost money on the gambling machines.
ESCAPE ATTEMPT STOPPED WITH A TASER
After the robbery, shortly after being discharged from Hialeah Hospital where he was taken for a medical examination, Arzola attempted to escape by jumping out of bed as the handcuffs were being removed. He was subdued by a police officer using a taser and was re-handcuffed and taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
Arzola faces charges of armed robbery, unlawful restraint with a deadly weapon, committing a felony with a firearm, escape, and resisting arrest.
