"I SUSPECTED IT WAS A HUMAN CORPSE"

Describing the incident, İsmail Karagöz said, "I came to visit my father's grave. I come here every week. I was going to pour water on the grave, and at that moment, I was pulling the hose. Something caught my eye. Then I became anxious and scared when I saw what I saw. I immediately went and reported the situation to security. The security came, and after examining it, they called the gendarmerie. After the gendarmerie investigations, they opened the grave, and it was understood that the lifeless body wrapped in the cloth was an animal. At first, I suspected it was a human corpse. I was already anxious because of that. When the gendarmerie opened the cloth, they said there was something furry inside. They said it was a dog-like animal. The cloth was wrapped like a shroud. The grave had not been fully dug; it was only covered with soil. I think other dogs came and dug it up. We also found a note where the animal was buried; the note was written in a foreign language, and we couldn't understand it."
