On August 30, 2024, the case filed by Lieutenant Ebru Eroğlu, who was expelled from the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) for shouting the slogan "We are soldiers of Mustafa Kemal" while crossing swords at the graduation ceremony of the Military Academy, was rejected by the Ankara 4th Administrative Court. The court assessed that the action "damaged the reputation of the TSK and created a trust-eroding effect in the public."
One of the lieutenants who shouted the slogan "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal" while crossing swords at the graduation ceremony of the Turkish Military Academy on August 30, 2024, Ebru Eroğlu, who was dismissed from the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK), had her lawsuit filed for the annulment of the decision of the High Disciplinary Board of the Land Forces Command concluded. The Ankara 4th Administrative Court rejected Eroğlu's request to annul the decision of separation from the TSK.

The reasoned decision of the Administrative Court has reached the parties. In the court's decision, it was stated that considering the dimensions of the action and the negative effects it created, it was assessed to be of a weight that would harm the reputation of the TSK.
PLANNED ACTION
The decision also expressed that the action created a perception in society that the military oath was abandoned, and this situation had a nature that undermined trust in the TSK. The court emphasized that there was a belief that the planning for the reading of the oath, which had been removed from the legislation, was made in advance.
LAWSUIT REJECTED
In line with these reasons, the court ruled that there was no illegality in the dismissal decision made by the High Disciplinary Board and decided to reject the lawsuit.
