99.99% LIKELY TO BE HIS MOTHER

The Bursa Group Presidency of the Forensic Medicine Institution conducted a DNA analysis on the samples taken from Rebecca S., who was informed after the child's discovery and came from Germany to Turkey, and N.S., who is under state protection. In the forensic report sent to the Mustafakemalpaşa Family Court, it was stated that the DNA profiles of N.S. and Rebecca S. were compared, and based on the results obtained, Rebecca S. is 99.99% likely to be the biological mother of the child.

A decision regarding the return of the child to the mother will be made in the case seen at the Mustafakemalpaşa Family Court.

MISSING CHILD FOUND AFTER 7 YEARS

German citizen Rebecca S. (31) had come to the house of the child's father Umut K.'s (33) mother H.S. (60) in the Mustafakemalpaşa district with her 1-year-old son in 2019. It was reported that after a while, Rebecca S.'s boyfriend insisted on returning to Germany, which she did not accept.

Later, mother Rebecca S. reported to the police that her son N.S. was missing, and after long search efforts, no trace of the child was found. As part of the investigation conducted by the Mustafakemalpaşa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a special team was established in February, consisting of personnel from the Public Security Branch of the Provincial Police Department's Robbery, Homicide, and Missing Persons Bureau.

The teams found the child in a house belonging to R.M. on March 10.

Regarding the incident in which N.S. was taken under state protection, the grandmother H.S. and the owner of the residence where the child was hidden, R.M., were arrested by the court. Meanwhile, it was learned that the child's father Umut K. had passed away two years ago due to an illness.
