Besiktas Football Director Onder Ozen spoke about the transfer process of Mohamed Salah, saying, "The Salah transfer has been put on hold for now."
Beşiktaş Football Director Önder Özen held a press conference on current issues. Speaking about the transfer of Muhammed Salah, who left Liverpool and is currently without a club, Önder Özen informed his fans about the latest situation.

Commenting on the Salah transfer process, Önder Özen said, "We contacted a world star considered among the most important players in the world, like Salah. We conducted a study regarding its monetization potential from a financial perspective, it seemed attractive to our club, and negotiations began."
''WE MET 3 TIMES''
Stating that they held three meetings with the Egyptian player, Önder Özen said, "We contacted Salah. This also involved a financing model. Salah is a global star, a respected athlete. We met with Salah three times without entering the financial part of the discussions. Everything was smooth up to that point. When the financial aspect started, the initial fluidity slowed down from July 21 onwards. Requests that could stall both the flow of information and the financial side began to emerge. I can assume that a respectable athlete like Salah was unaware of this."

Continuing his remarks, Özen explained the latest situation in the transfer, saying, "It is important to uphold Beşiktaş values. Knowing the price you will pay when you lose these values is more important than anything. Keeping the club on track is more important than acquiring a valuable athlete. The Salah transfer file is currently shelved."

Also commenting on the possible transfer of Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, Önder Özen evaluated, "The Vlahovic issue is up to the player's own initiative due to him being free. If players want to prefer the top 5 leagues, they don't want to come to Turkey. Some players that Italiano really wanted are not choosing here for this reason."
