A police officer who came to Isparta for the holiday leave ended up in a tragedy after a dispute between two brothers that started at home and continued in a vehicle. The father, seeing his son with a gun to his head, attempted to intervene by drawing his own weapon, at which point one of the guns fired. The police officer's son lost his life, while the father was injured. It has not yet been determined whose gun fired the bullet.
Police officer Ömer A., who came to his hometown Isparta for the holiday leave, and his brother Deniz A., who serves as a police officer in Denizli, left home together with their parents after a family dispute that occurred at home.

As the argument continued in the vehicle, when they arrived in front of their residence, the mother got out of the car and went home. During the ongoing argument, Deniz A. suddenly shouted, pulled out his gun, and pointed it at his own head. Then, father Mustafa A. also took out his service pistol and got out of the vehicle. While trying to take the guns from each other, during the scuffle, one of the parties' guns accidentally fired, resulting in father M.A. and son Deniz A. being shot in the neck and injured. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
SON DIED, FATHER INJURED
The injured were taken to Isparta City Hospital and the Faculty of Medicine Hospital by ambulances after the initial intervention of the health teams at the scene. Deniz A., who was taken to Isparta City Hospital, could not be saved despite all the interventions of the health teams and lost his life. It was learned that Mustafa A. was receiving treatment at the Faculty of Medicine Hospital, and Ömer A., who was not injured in the incident but was taken to the hospital as a precaution, was also under observation at the same hospital.
Meanwhile, 2 pistols, 1 empty cartridge, and 1 live bullet were seized at the scene and taken for examination. It was reported that it has not yet been determined whose gun the bullet came from. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
