Harun Gül, who shot and killed his wife in the middle of the street in Arnavutköy district of Istanbul during their divorce process, revealed his statement at the police station. It was learned that Harun Gül said that they argued after his wife refused to take care of the children when he mentioned that one of their children had a circumcision ceremony yesterday, and he killed her afterwards.

HE KILLED HIS WIFE WITH 3 BULLETS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET

The incident took place in Arnavutköy Taşoluk Neighborhood at around 13:45. According to the information obtained, Serpil Gül (35) and Harun Gül (40), who have been in the process of divorce for 2 years, came together yesterday for the circumcision ceremony of one of their children. However, an argument broke out between them this morning due to the issue of 'you take care of the children'. After the argument, Harun Gül chased his wife Serpil Gül in the street with the gun he had. When Gül fell to the ground in the middle of the street, Harun Gül shot her in the head with 3 bullets and killed her.

HE WAITED AFTER KILLING HER

Many police teams and ambulances arrived at the scene upon the notification. Allegedly, Harun Gül, who did not allow the ambulance to enter the street, waited by his dead wife's side. Harun Gül, who was called by the police through the vehicle megaphone at the scene, surrendered to the police with his gun.
