Numerous appointments have been made to the Ministry of Justice, where Akın Gürlek has been appointed as the Minister. The appointment decisions, signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, were published in the Official Gazette and have come into effect.
With the presidential decision published in the Official Gazette, numerous changes were made in the upper management of the Ministry of Justice.
In the Ministry of Justice, where Akın Gürlek took over from Yılmaz Tunç in recent months, many changes were made.
10 CRITICAL NAMES WERE CHANGED
According to the Presidential Decree No. 3, 10 critical names, including the General Director of Prisons and Detention Houses and the Chairman of the Inspection Board, were dismissed.
As part of the appointment decisions, Oğuzhan Yaşar was replaced by Hazım Aslancı as the General Director of Criminal Affairs, Hakan Öztatar was replaced by Erdinç Avşar as the General Director of Legal Affairs, Eniz Yavuz Yıldırım was replaced by Çelebi Yılmaz as the General Director of Prisons and Detention Houses, Yusuf Soner Çiftçioğlu was replaced by Cahit Cihad Sarı as the General Director of Personnel, Abdurrahim Taş was replaced by Mücahit Gülşen as the General Director of Legal Services, Servet Gül was replaced by Mehmet Murat Tuzcu as the General Director of Information Technology, Cihan Yıldız was replaced by Murat Gülaç as the Chairman of the Inspection Board, Hasan Özçelik was replaced by Yusuf Kılıç as the Head of the Execution Affairs Department, and İbrahim Çetin was replaced by Murat Akınbingöl as the Head of the Support Services Department.
Additionally, Berkay Altuğ was appointed as the Head of the Judicial Support and Victim Services Department, and Metin Yıldırım was appointed as the President of the Turkish Justice Academy.
