The sad news of Eyüp Dereli, a father of two who was martyred while intervening in the forest fire in the Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir, reached his family. A forest fire broke out on Tuesday in the Fethiye neighborhood of the Seyitgazi district of Eskişehir. BECAME A FORESTER DUE TO HIS LOVE FOR NATURE
The news of Eyüp Dereli's martyrdom was delivered to Salih and Habibe Dereli, a couple living in the Çamlıca neighborhood of Tepebaşı district, at midnight. Upon learning that their son was martyred in the forest fire, the Dereli couple and the martyr's twin brother Faik Dereli, along with his wife Eda Dereli, were overwhelmed with tears. It was learned that Eyüp Dereli had previously worked as a bulldozer operator in the municipality and transitioned to the forestry organization 5 years ago due to his love for nature.
THE SAD NEWS REACHED HIS FAMILY
A condolence tent was set up in front of the house of martyr Eyüp Dereli in the Çamlıca neighborhood. His twin brother Faik Dereli accepted condolences with tears, stating that Eyüp Dereli loved trees and forests very much and tried to carry out his duty with pride for this reason.
It was stated that a funeral prayer for martyr Dereli would be held at the Reşadiye Mosque in the city center after the afternoon prayer, and he would be buried at the Kanlıpınar Martyrdom.
