Gold investors have been dissatisfied with the recent price fluctuations. After continuously setting new records for two weeks, gold did not attempt new peaks this week and instead faced a decline. Gold prices started the week at 2,921 lira and closed on Friday at 2,928 lira.
Gold prices, which entered a slight upward trend alongside limited positive data from the US economy, ended the week without profit. In the US, inflation was announced at 2.4% in September. Expectations were at 2.3%, and inflation had also occurred at an annual rate of 2.5% in August. The US inflation data, which came in above expectations, brought a limited rise to gold.
