Five more people have been detained as part of the investigation into the two armed attacks that took place at the emergency department of Bahçelievler State Hospital and on Mahmutbey Street in Istanbul. The five suspects, who are believed to be members of the 'Atız-Casper' organization, have completed their procedures at the police station and have been referred to the courthouse. Four of the suspects were arrested and sent to prison by the Bakırköy Peace Criminal Court. IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE TWO ATTACKS ARE CONNECTEDIn the incident that took place at Bahçelievler State Hospital on August 31st around 02:30, the suspects who came to the front of the emergency department opened fire towards the hospital. As a result of the gunfire, a total of 5 people, including a hospital police officer, a gendarmerie officer, a hospital security guard, and 2 relatives of patients who were outside at that time, were injured. On the same night, three people walking on Mahmutbey Street were also targeted in an armed attack. One person died at the scene, while another person was injured. In the investigations carried out by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that the two armed attacks were connected to each other. 11 individuals, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse with a request for their arrest. The 11 suspects were arrested and sent to prison on charges of "being a member of an organization established with the aim of committing a crime." SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED AS MEMBERS OF THE ATIZ-CASPER ORGANIZATIONAs part of the investigation initiated by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crime Investigation Bureau, five more people have been detained. The five suspects, identified as members of the 'Atız-Casper' organization by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, have been referred to the Peace Criminal Court with a request for their arrest.
