Severe explosions occurred in Tehran, the capital of Iran, where US-Israel attacks are ongoing. Intense explosions were reported in the southern and western parts of Tehran, and air defense systems were activated after the attack.
TEHRAN IS BURNING
Images from Tehran revealed the extent of the brutality. Fires were seen breaking out in many areas of the city center where civilians are densely populated.
The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company announced that the stock in the oil depots hit in Tehran and Alborz provinces during the US-Israel attacks had been previously reduced to a minimum level and that fuel supply was being provided from other sources.
PRECAUTIONS TAKEN IN OIL DEPOTS
Meanwhile, the Mehr News Agency published a written statement made by the company regarding the issue.
The statement said, "Some oil depots in Tehran and Alborz provinces have been subjected to missile attacks. Necessary precautions had been taken to minimize product stocks beforehand. Fuel supply is being continuously provided from other sources in both provinces."
It was also noted that firefighting teams are continuing their efforts to control and extinguish the fire in the depots.
