NEW NAME: KONYASPOR MURAT KURUM FACILITIES
In line with the decision taken, the new facilities were named after the Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Murat Kurum. The name of the facilities became 'Konyaspor Murat Kurum Facilities'. This decision was met with backlash from Konyaspor fans.
REACTION FROM CHP'S BARIS BEKTAŞ

In a social media post, Barış Bektaş stated, 'While there are many names suitable for our Konyaspor's identity and history; making a political choice and naming the facilities after a politician who continues his active political life will harm Konyaspor the most. #TheNameOfTheFacilityShouldBeAhmetÇalık; let's keep the memory of our late footballer alive.'
SHARE FROM SERDAR GÜRLER
On the other hand, Serdar Gürler, a former player of Konyaspor who currently plays for Eyüpspor, also reacted to this decision by making a post on his social media account.
