With the announcement of the pension increase, the amount to be determined for the holiday bonus has become a matter of curiosity. The holiday bonus, which was first implemented in 2018 at 1,000 TL, was raised from 3,000 TL to 4,000 TL last year. This year, it is estimated that the increase could be 1,000 TL.

According to the news in Yeni Şafak; the holiday bonus given to retirees twice a year during Ramadan and Eid al-Adha will be increased by 25%. The bonus, which was raised to 4,000 TL in 2025, will be 5,000 TL. The negotiations between the AK Party Group Presidency, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security have concluded for the increase of the bonus. The bonus will be raised to 5,000 TL with a 25% increase.

It is expected that the legal regulation containing the increase will be brought to the Parliament's agenda in February or March and be enacted before the Ramadan holiday.
