The investigation into the death of Güllü, one of the beloved figures of Turkish music, who fell from the balcony of her home in Yalova, has been transferred to the homicide department due to suspicious aspects. Neighbors' statements that "she wouldn't commit suicide," allegations regarding two men who entered the house, and findings related to the artist's health have further complicated the case.
The investigation into the death of Güllü, one of the beloved figures of Turkish music, who fell from the balcony of her home in Yalova on September 26, has taken a different turn. Due to the suspicious nature of the incident and the new findings that have emerged, the case has been transferred to the homicide department.
While investigations continue regarding Güllü's death, who fell from her apartment on the sixth floor, striking claims were brought up on the program "What's Happening in Life" aired on Kanal D. Residents of the building, speaking for the first time after the incident, shared their experiences, further complicating the investigation.
"I COULDN'T SLEEP UNTIL MORNING"
One of the neighbors, Reyhan Hanım, firmly rejected the suicide claim, stating, "She was never someone who would commit suicide. She fell right in front of my house. She was living with her son and daughter, raising her grandchild. There was no unrest in the family." Her most striking claim was about two men who entered and exited the house on the night of the incident. Reyhan Hanım recounted, "That day, two men followed the girls. They came out of Güllü's bedroom. Even the manager said, 'Those white shoes were not women's shoes, they were men's shoes.' They went down and left. I couldn't sleep until morning."
WHY WAS GÜLLÜ'S DEATH FILE TRANSFERRED TO THE HOMICIDE DEPARTMENT?
The program also shared the reasons behind the transfer of the investigation to the homicide department with the viewers. The contradictions revealed in the audio recordings, findings that led to the death being considered suspicious, Güllü's daughter's cries, family members' objections to the possibility of suicide or accident, and the claim made during a live reenactment that "she fell while dancing to a Roman tune" being deemed physically impossible changed the direction of the case. The fact that the artist had a platinum in her spine, making it impossible for her to play near the window, further increased the suspicions.
The investigation into Güllü's death is being examined more comprehensively in the homicide department. Every new detail that emerges deepens the mysteries of the night the artist lost her life.
