A 44-year-old man, who was severely injured when construction rebar thrown from the roof by his father hit him while he was cleaning, died in the hospital where he was taken.
A 44-year-old man lost his life after being struck on the head by a construction iron thrown from the roof by his father in Kütahya.
HE CAME DOWN FROM THE ROOF HE CLEANED, FOUND HIS SON LYING IN BLOOD
The incident occurred in a building on Şehit Yusuf Street in the Yunusemre neighborhood. One of the construction irons thrown in front of the house by Ahmet Bayraktar, who was cleaning the roof, hit his son Mustafa Bayraktar on the head. When the father Bayraktar came down from the apartment, he saw his son lying on the ground in a pool of blood and called the 112 Emergency Call Center.
HE COULD NOT BE SAVED
In the examination conducted by the medical teams who arrived upon the notification, it was determined that Mustafa Bayraktar's heart had stopped. While Bayraktar's heart was being restarted, he was taken to the hospital by ambulance after the initial intervention. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, Bayraktar could not be saved.
After the incident, father Ahmet Bayraktar was taken into custody and brought to the Şehit Mehmet Kartal Police Station for his statement. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
