The Istanbul Governorship announced that the claims regarding the closure of Şişhane Metro Station due to an event organized by the CHP Provincial Presidency do not reflect the truth. In a statement from the governorship, it was noted that the exits of Şişhane Metro Station at the Tax Office and the Beyoğlu Municipality would be closed to ensure that search operations could be conducted effectively.

GOVERNORSHIP'S STATEMENT ON ŞİŞHANE METRO

In a statement from the governorship, it was stated that the news and posts circulating in various media outlets and social media platforms, stating "Şişhane Metro Station was closed due to an event organized by the CHP Provincial Presidency," were not true.

The statement said, "In order for our teams from the Istanbul Police Department to carry out their search activities effectively during the event, the exit of Şişhane Metro Station to the Tax Office and the exit of Şişhane Metro Station to the Beyoğlu Municipality will be closed to use. Other exits of Şişhane Metro Station will continue to operate."
