In the Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, the suspects appeared before the judge for the first time in the investigation into the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran. An interesting moment occurred at the end of the testimony of the mother, Yüksel Güran, who gave contradictory answers to questions in court. FROM THE JUDGE TO THE MOTHER: "WHAT DID NARIN SEE BEFORE SHE WAS KILLED?"After her questioning was over, the judge stopped mother Güran by saying, "I will ask one last question." The judge asked Yüksel Güran, "Could Narin have seen something else that she shouldn't have seen? In a village, there is plenty of time; we grew up in the village too. When a foreign vehicle comes to the village, it is followed, and gossip is made. Did Narin see anything from Nevzat or Salim within 5 minutes before she was killed?" Yüksel Güran replied, "If I knew, I would say. I didn't see, I didn't hear any gossip. I didn't hear anything at all." FROM THE INDICTMENTIn the investigation, among the 12 detained suspects, 4 were arrested. In the indictment prepared by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated that Salim Güran, the uncle of Narin, who had DNA and hair samples belonging to Narin in his vehicle, along with his mother Yüksel Güran and his brother Enes Güran, were arrested. It was also mentioned that their neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar, who confessed to moving the body to the stream bed after being detained, was found to be in the same house at the time of the incident according to HTS and base station records, and aggravated life imprisonment was requested for the crime of 'intentional murder of a child in participation.' 4 SUSPECTS IN THE SAME HOUSE AT THE TIME OF THE MURDERIn the murder of Narin Güran, it was determined that 4 suspects were in the same house at the time of the murder according to HTS and base station records. The indictment included the following statements: "Considering the HTS analysis reports in the file and the expert report regarding the narrow area base study, it has been clearly established that all suspects were present at the residence, and it has been concluded that there is sufficient suspicion that the suspects, who were in unity of time and space, acted with a will of participation by moving together in thought and action, and that they strangled Narin Güran for an undetermined reason and motive, committing the crime attributed to them as joint perpetrators."
