A dispute that broke out in a café in Bağcılar, Istanbul, ended in murder. 20-year-old Havin Taşçı was stabbed to death in the heart by her former colleague, waiter Şeymanur Ş.
The incident occurred on the morning of October 31 at around 04:20 in a café located in the Sancaktepe neighborhood of Bağcılar. According to reports, Havin Taşçı (20), who had left her job some time ago, visited her former workplace and sat down. She ordered from her former colleague Şeymanur Ş. (19). A dispute arose between Taşçı and Şeymanur Ş. after she was dissatisfied with the order that arrived.
RETURNED WITH A KNIFE
According to a report in the Sabah newspaper, after the argument, Şeymanur Ş. left the café and shortly returned with a knife from his home, accompanied by his sister Feyza Ş. (16). The argument that resumed here quickly escalated into a fight. Şeymanur Ş. stabbed Havin Taşçı first in the stomach and then in the heart with the switchblade he had brought. Seriously injured, Havin Taşçı was taken to the hospital by the medical teams who arrived at the scene upon notification, but despite all interventions, she could not be saved.
SUSPECT ARRESTED
Teams from the Bağcılar District Police Department detained Şeymanur Ş. and his sister Feyza Ş. after the incident. Two switchblades found at the scene were also preserved as evidence. Şeymanur Ş., who was referred to the courthouse, was arrested and sent to prison, while his sister Feyza Ş. was released. The prosecutor's office is meticulously continuing the investigation launched for the crime of "intentional murder" related to the incident.
