The event occurred on Tuesday night in the parking lot of the complex where the 48-year-old suspect Vicente Nogueira lived.
In the security camera footage, 27-year-old Michelli do Nascimento is seen talking to her ex-boyfriend while taking a suitcase out of her trunk.
After handing the suitcase to Nogueira, do Nascimento began to take a second suitcase out from the back seat of the car. During this time, Nogueira was waiting next to the vehicle.
Then, after exchanging a few more words with her ex-boyfriend, the young woman got into her car. A few seconds later, Nogueira pulled out a gun from his left side, fired at the vehicle, and shot do Nascimento twice in the face.
He then pointed the gun at his own mouth and pulled the trigger. He fell backward and collapsed to the ground due to the impact of the bullet.
The Santos Military Police found Nogueira's .38 caliber gun and two cell phones at the scene.
The Santos Civil Police have not yet explained the reason for the murder-suicide, but they stated that Nogueira was waiting in the parking lot when do Nascimento arrived.
Do Nascimento's cousin, Graziela Nascimento, made an emotional post on Facebook, promising to remember her forever: "I want to remember you with that beautiful and peaceful smile, always with your laughter and your voice. We can never know when it will be the last time, my princess. Rest in peace, you will protect us with grandma in heaven! You will be greatly missed."
