While the trial of the Newborn Gang, which caused the deaths of numerous babies in Istanbul, is ongoing, the leader of the organization, Fırat Sarı, who appeared in the defendant's stand for identification, stated that his monthly income is 400,000 TL. His low voice while disclosing his income drew attention.
The trial of the administrators and members of the Newborn Gang, who provided unfair profits by transferring babies to hospitals they had agreements with and caused their deaths through negligent behavior, has begun in Istanbul.
47 DEFENDANTS APPEARED BEFORE THE JUDGE
A total of 47 defendants, 22 of whom are in custody, appeared before the judge as part of the indictment accepted by the Bakırköy 22nd High Criminal Court. In the hearing held in the conference hall, a total of 41 defendants, including 22 in custody, were present. Additionally, the President of the Victory Party, Ümit Özdağ, and the presidents of the Istanbul Bar Association, Istanbul No. 2 Bar Association, Muğla Bar Association, Tekirdağ Bar Association, Diyarbakır Bar Association, Bursa Bar Association, Denizli Bar Association, Mardin Bar Association, and Kırklareli Bar Association also attended the hearing.

During the identification process, the organization leader Fırat Sarı, who took the stand, stated that his monthly income was 400,000 TL. It was also noted that other citizens who claimed to be victims submitted petitions during the hearing. It was learned that the new petitions would be evaluated by the prosecutor's office.

One of the detained defendants, İlker Gönen, stated during the identification process that he was married and had three children. Sarı mentioned his monthly income in a low voice.
