The intermittent downpour in İzmir has had a significant impact on many districts of the city. In Çeşme, tables and chairs were swept away by the current, while the market area in Alaçatı was submerged in water.

Due to the heavy downpour affecting the Çeşme district of İzmir, the Alaçatı market area and the port entrance were flooded.

The downpour, which has been effective since the morning hours in the district, intensified around noon. In the district, where puddles formed on the roads, tables and chairs were swept away by the current. Areas excavated for natural gas work in the Musalla neighborhood were submerged.

After the downpour, deep puddles were also observed in front of the Alaçatı market area and the Çeşme Port passenger gate.
