Çorum Mayor Halil İbrahim Aşgın noticed during his inspections at the public market that some vendors were misleading consumers by altering the arrangement of their stalls. Aşgın, who saw that the products were of different quality at the front and lower quality at the back, reacted strongly to the situation.
"IS THERE SUCH A MORALITY?"
Aşgın, who identified that some vendors placed quality products at the front while keeping lower quality products at the back, expressed his outrage at what he saw, saying, "They put different things at the back and at the front. Is there such a morality? This is not found in Islam, nor in humanity."
INSTRUCTION TO "INCREASE INSPECTIONS"
Giving instructions to the municipal police teams to increase inspections, Aşgın stated, "I want separate inspections in the morning and in the afternoon. You will impose fines on all of them," emphasizing that sanctions would be increased for the market vendors to work more orderly and honestly.
