A 5.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Tuşba district of Van in the morning was captured on camera. In the footage recorded in homes and workplaces in the city, items can be seen shaking like a cradle, while citizens rushed outside in panic. Due to the tremor, a barn wall collapsed, and a citizen who jumped from a balcony in panic broke their left leg.

ONE PERSON JUMPED FROM THE BALCONY
In the Erciş district, a citizen panicked and jumped from the balcony during the earthquake. While it was reported that the general condition of the citizen taken to the hospital was good, a fracture was detected in his left leg. The treatment of the injured person is ongoing.
THE WALL OF THE STABLE COLLAPSED
After the earthquake, teams from the Van AFAD Directorate, who received reports of a stable collapsing in the Ermişler neighborhood of Tuşba district, quickly went to the neighborhood. In the initial examinations conducted by the teams, who went to the region with 1 vehicle and 6 search and rescue personnel, it was determined that there was a partial collapse in the stable structure. Necessary security measures were taken in the area, and detailed field scanning studies are being carried out. The teams provided necessary information and guidance to the citizens, prioritizing their safety.
