HE APPEARED BEFORE THE JUDGE
The young football player, who faces a prison sentence of 4 to 13 years, appeared before the judge in a hearing held in Istanbul.
HE REVEALED HIS MONTHLY INCOME
During the hearing, Baltacı, whose identity was established, stated that he is a high school graduate and that his monthly income is approximately 1.5 million lira.
HE DENIED THE ALLEGATIONS
In his defense, Baltacı denied the allegations, stating that he was in the U19 team on the dates mentioned in the indictment and that he did not communicate with the A team players. The football player, who mentioned that he only placed bets on two matches on a legal site during that period, expressed that he did not make any profit.

The young center-back emphasized that he did not make any match-fixing agreement, that the content of the messages was ordinary football conversations, and that there was no money entering his account. Baltacı, who has been in custody for about 4 months, was released after his defense. The young player requested his acquittal.
